CASTROFATE Guitarist Issues Recording Update, Tour Dates In Planning

CASTROFATE guitarist / founder Dan Castro (GOTHIC KNIGHTS, TWILIGHT ODYSSEY) has checked in with the following update:
"We are in the midst of recording our new album with James Murphy producing. Dmitriy laid down the drum tracks at The Porch Studios, and James took care of the bass tracks at SafeHouse Production. I have returned to NY while James takes care of some business, and I will be back down there at SafeHouse Production to finish the guitars and vocals in mid-May. We are setting up a fall tour which hopefully will coincide with the release of the record.Also, we still have some t-shirts and some Cataclysmic Insanity CD's left, and only 2 hoodies are left in our stock. Stay tuned!"

Guitarist / producer James Murphy (DEATH, OBITUARY) recently posted footage from recording sessions for the new Castrofate album. Initially hired on solely as producer, he has also taken on the role of session bassist for reasons explained in the clip below.
