Louisiana's CATHOLICON have issued the following update:

"Catholicon's new and fourth album, Of Ages Past, will be carried by the legendary Moribund Records. You can soon find our CD, along with hundreds of other great obscure and dark titles at this location .

If you are local and live in the Lafayette area, you will be able to get the new CD direct from Jonathan Joubert, operator of the well known bed & breakfast/recording studio/video production studio/reception hall/shop known as Bechet House. The insanely industrious Jonathan has hosted some of the biggest bands in metal as they've passed through our state on tour and has turned his home into a four or five part business. Jonathan plays in local band PSYCHOMETRY, was a founding member of one of the state's longest running and premier death metal bands, DESPONDENCY, and was once upon a time the bassist for Catholicon (played bass and b. vocals on the 1999 demo, widely considered our best demo effort!). This is just to say that opposed to writing a 'get in and out fast' record, as what many bands today do for the short-attention-span culture of today; we wanted to make a final record that would have a lasting appeal as a very cult item.
