Louisiana-based black/death metallers CATHOLICON have issued the following update:

"Catholicon would like to thank everyone who has supported us for the past 15 years; it has been great and without everyone we would not have gotten this far. Our fourth album, Of Ages Past, is fully mastered and in the last graphics design stages and nearly ready to go to press. There will be a DVDR offer with every purchase of the album which will allow one to order a free DVD ROM digipack from us, containing our entire vault of demo and rare recordings from 1994 to 2009 as well as a bonus video. This will be worth the wait and should all be out soon!

Catholicon are not currently doing live shows and are not seeking any additional members, distributors or other labels; contrary to any information out there to the contrary. Please keep in mind that this is (currently) the one and only official page and source for information on the band and that unauthorized sources may not have correct or current information. Catholicon are signed to Negativity, LLC for the full rights to release and distribute our upcoming album as well as the next album that we are in the planning stages for already, which is tentatively titled Skeleton Key. Skeleton Key has been a long time in the fermenting stages and will likely take a while in the production stage as well; but we feel that we will have truly saved the very best for last.

Please check back often for more news and updates as they become available and I apologize for any miscommunications or mass communications that may have come about of late."
