According to Standardbredcanada.ca, Charlottetown city police are gearing up for a busy Saturday night, as an AEROSMITH concert is expected to absolutely jam the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre.

With 800 parking spots available for an estimated 6,250 vehicles, authorities have stated that they will be out in full force.

"Every available officer will be working," deputy Charlottetown police chief Richard Collins was quoted as saying in an article posted on theguardian.pe.ca.

Collins also stated in the article that city police have three priorities:

General policing around the neighbourhoods

Making sure people get out of the city safely after the show

Ensuring people make it back to their hotels and campsites

Dan Berry, owner and operator of Atlantic Private Protection Security Service (a private firm hired for internal security), has ensured a safe time for everyone on hand Saturday.

"The standards for this event, in terms of security, are the highest for any event that has ever occurred in this province,'' said Barry, a 21-year veteran of the security business whose regional manager is the former bodyguard for the Queen Mother and Prince Charles.
