CLOVEN HOOF - Singer Russ North To Play Final Gig With Band At Hard Rock Hell Festival

In October, NWOBHM legends CLOVEN HOOF announced that frontman Russ North was leaving the band to pursue a solo singing career away from heavy metal. Cloven Hoof have issued the following update:
"Russ has agreed to play his last ever show with the band on Saturday, December 5th at Pontins Prestatyn. As a special thank you to the UK fans, Hard Rock Hell Festival 3 in Wales will mark the end of an era with vocalist Russ North’s departure. The proceeds of the show will go to the Clive Aid charity for Clive Burr (ex-IRON MAIDEN)."Cloven Hoof members Lee Payne (bass), Jon Brown (drums) and Ben Read (guitar) are currently in pre-production working with producer Tom Galley (PHENOMENA) on their next album scheduled for release in the spring of 2010.
