CORROSION OF CONFORMITY Added To Upcoming DANZIG Legacy Halloween Dates

DANZIG Legacy Halloween dates were recently added for New York City at the Hammerstein Ballroom on October 29th and Los Angeles, CA at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Halloween Night October 31st. CORROSION OF CONFORMITY have been confirmed as the special guest and will feature the classic original three-piece of Woody Weatherman, Mike Dean, and Reed Mullin, performing songs from their seminal albums Animosity and Technocracy. Brand new material is also expected to be performed.
Metal Mark at SkullsNBones recently spoke with Corrosion Of Conformity bassist/vocalist Mike Dean, who commented that a new album is "hopefully" coming down the pipe in early 2012. Check it out the interview below.
Dean also spoke with Greg Prato from UGO.com recently. A few excerpts follow:
Q: How heavy will the forthcoming COC album be?
A: "The new COC record will be as heavy as depleted uranium, coated in molasses."
Q: Care to share some info about the album (it's title, song titles, release date, etc.)?
A: "The title is yet to be determined. Which is not to say that, 'The title is yet to be determined.' A self-titled release crossed our minds but the album title is a game-time decision. October is a good time but if we miss that, early 2012 would be a fine time for release. 'The Moneychangers', 'River of Stone', and 'Rat City' are some of the titles."
