hot flashes news black label society cycle of pain

Bassist John JD Deservio has checked in with Bravewords.com correspondent Debbie Rao to confirm that his new project CYCLE OF PAIN has been added to the following BLACK LABEL SOCIETY tour dates listed below. Cycle of Pain will start opening the night on the April 21stin Houston and end on May 2nd in Los Angeles. JD will be doing double duty! Cycle of Pain's new album will be released on April 21st on Reform Records

Cycle of Pain features bassist John JD DeServio, vocalist/rhythm guitarist Gregg Locascio, lead guitarist Joe Taylor (DORO) and drummer Rich Monica. They have added four new preview tracks of their forthcoming album to their MySpace page including '14 Devils', 'Dead Man Working', 'Down Witcha Pain', and 'Do My Work'.

Endorsed by Schecter Guitars and an alumni of the prestigious Berklee College of Music, DeServio's rock 'n' roll resume includes playing bass for Lita Ford when she opened for MÖTLEY CRÜE on the Dr. Feelgood tour. DeServio then joined UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore's band for their opening stint in front of RUSH on the Roll The Bones tour.

In a recent, exclusive interview for Bravewords.com during his bass clinic appearance at Daddy's Junky Music Store in Portsmouth, NH, Deservio commented on Cycle of Pain:"Our vocalist Gregg Locascio is a cross between Ozzy and Chris Cornell meets Bon Scott. We have been playing in a band together since we were 15. Cycle of Pain is influenced by Ozzy, Sabbath, many funk cats and jazzers! Toolish, hard rock fusion leading to a broad spectrum of styles. I have been in bands all my life and for me to have my own thing and have this song on the show means so much to me. Sons of Anarchy is kind of like The Sopranos on bikes". With Cycle of Pain, we hope to keep the family BLS thing going. Black Label Society fans are the greatest."
