DARK TRANQUILLITY and Century Media have unveiled the 158 bands which have made it into the final voting round for the local support contest for the upcoming Where Death Is Most Alive Tour 2010.

A comment from Century Media reads: "We were quite impressed by the amount of bands which have applied for the contest – in the end approx. 600 bands have tried to convince us to pick them for the voting and we really had a hard time to select the best bands amongst the submissions! But now you can decide who will get the chance to open for a selected Dark Tranquillity show this fall.

Head over to Centurymedia.com and give the bands a listen and decide who’s up to the task of being the opening act for a real melodic death metal legend!

The voting will end on August 9th, so make sure to tell your friends about the contest and voting. Each fan who signed in can give one vote per show and per day. On August 12th, the bands with the most votes will be informed to be the local support. In case the winning band can’t play the show (for whatever reason) the second band will be informed.
