DARZAMAT Issue Solfernus' Path Pre-Production Update
August 30, 2008, 16 years ago
DARZAMAT have started pre-production on their forthcoming concept album, Solfernus' Path. Vocalist Flauros has issued the following statement:
"It is wonderful to be able to hear the pieces in all their glory, before the whole process of recording the album begins. Spectre and Chris, who presently focus on the Solfernus' Path pre-production, do a great job and they're excellent in what they do. It's not a coincidence that it is Chris who's responsible for the production of one of the last year's most interesting debuts - Heatenic Noiz Architect's first album, which had a great mass media reception. This story is like a drug to us. We get into it deeper and deeper with every single passing day. It'll be very dusky as in the excellent classcical horrors. We've been changing the arrangements all the time and have been working on the tiniest details of the numbers. The effect will be surprising enough for the fans to forgive us these couple of months of silence.
Mariusz 'Rogol' Pr?tkiewicz is known among others from the performances with the cult Polish band Kat. Rogol's presently been also playing in the band Divizon by Zero. Mariusz performs in our band as a guest and not as a session musician. It is our friend from a very promising progmetal band Divizion By Zero, in which our keyboard player Spectre used to perform. Rogol is the example of the right person in the right place. He perfectly fitted in the band's stylistics, adding to the Darzamat's music what it previously lacked. Pieces played by Mariusz gained a new dynamics and the motor activity of his play made every sound pulsate like a well-oiled machine. Everyone who knows this musician's abilities, knows exactly what I mean. The ones who don't know him, will soon be ascertained.
The bass player Bacchus, who recorded with Darzamat the latest album "Transkarpatia", has also left the band. - Bacchus was not able to reconcile playing with the daily matters due to personal causes. We decided that the bass parts in studio will be recorded by Chris and during the concerts we will be supported by the session bass player. We understand one another very well in our group if five, so there's no use changing it. Pr?tkiewicz, however, is not the only musician, who will take part in a new record's session as a guest. Some infos about the other musicians coming soon."
