Classic '80s New Jersey metallers DEADLY BLESSING have been laying low since Ski announced his departure. A few songs with new vocalist Stephen Childs have surfaced online (and on a sampler from Germany's Heavy magazine), but a September 15th benefit will mark Childs' live debut. The band will be headlining the Kegs For Legs benefit. The show is being put together for Jack Gormley, owner of Sound Hall Studios, as well as a fellow musician. He recently lost both of his legs to a hereditary vascular disease. His insurance paid for one of his prosthetics - the benefit is aimed to raise some funds for Jack to get the other one. The show will feature seven bands as well as food, beer.

The benefit is being held at Rmacs Pub (Crystal Lake Ave.) in Haddon Twp, NJ. Ticket are $25 and can be purchased Through Rick Zammer from Sound Hall Studios. Contact - phone: 856-264-1546 or email: rikkizee@aol.com.
