DEF LEPPARD Guitarist To Take Part In Hollywood United Vs. DC United Football Match

On October 20, 1997 MLS Cup championship team DC United will honor United legend Marco Etcheverry with a tribute match, prior to the team's final regular season game versus the Columbus Crew. At the match D.C. United will honor the 10 year anniversary of D.C. United's 1997 Championship. The game will be preceded by the tribute match at 5 PM and pit United's 1997 MLS Cup championship team versus Hollywood United, a team made up of former MLS stars and celebrities.
The Def Leppard connection can be found in Hollywood United: one of the players to take the field is Vivian Campbell, along with a number of former MLS stars, players from the French, Mexican and Scottish national teams, actors Vinnie Jones and Anthony LaPaglia and other celebrities.
