Mumbai, India-based death/thrash outfit DEVOID have launched their first music video, for 'Brahma Weapon', a song off their latest release, The Invasion. Conceptualized by the band itself, the music video was directed by Neale Hemrajani. The post production was handled by Refractor Studios and edited by 42 FPS.

Talking about the concept, vocalist Arun Iyer said, "The concept of the video revolves around the cycle of oppression. The invasion of the mind is depicted through the cult leader and his initiate and a physical invasion of an attacker and his victim is also shown. As and when the act of invasion is complete the cycle begins anew but this time the oppressed becomes the oppressor."

Director Neale Hemrajani, an an award-winning Director and Cinematographer, based in Mumbai and Los Angeles had this to say about his first stint with an Indian metal music video: "Working with Devoid on this video was an extraordinary experience in every conceivable way, all the way from conceptualisation to production. This is a group of extremely talented and passionate artists that I know will find the greatest level of success in their relentless pursuit to break the boundaries of India's heavy metal community - it was an honor being able to help them to bring their identity to the screen."
