Download Festival 2006 - STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, CATHEDRAL, DRAGONFORCE, SEVENDUST Confirmed

STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, CATHEDRAL, DRAGONFORCE and SEVENDUST are the latest acts confirmed for this year's Download Festival, which organisers say is selling faster than any previous event. Dragonforce guitarist Herman Li comments: "Download 2006 here we come and some more! For those who've seen us, we know you lot will be in the front showing everyone there that DragonForce have the loudest, craziest fans. You asked, we answer. See you in the pit!"
As previously reported, the 2006 edition of the UK’s Download Festival (www.downloadfestival.co.uk) is scheduled for June 9th - 11th at Donington Park in Leicestershire. Acts confirmed for the festival now include: ALEXISONFIRE, ALICE IN CHAINS, THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS, ARCH ENEMY, BLEEDING THROUGH, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, CATHEDRAL, CLUTCH, CRADLE OF FILTH, DEFTONES, DRAGONFORCE, ENGERICA, GUNS N' ROSES, HATEBREED, INME, KORN, LACUNA COIL, METALLICA, THE PRODIGY, SEVENDUST, SIKTH, SOILWORK, SOULFLY, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, TOOL, TRIVIUM and WITHIN TEMPTATION.
