DOWNSPIRIT Begin Work On New Album
August 23, 2011, 13 years ago
DOWNSPIRIT, the German/Swiss blues/metal-oriented band formed by SYMPHORCE/ex-FREEDOM CALL guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, have started work on their second album, tentatively to be recorded later this fall. The band states: "Currently we are busy sorting out all kinds of ideas, riffs, harmonies and will be creating another blasting monster that will blow out your ears and crack your stereos! Being on the road a lot inspires us a lot to deliver you the real deal ...it's gonna be a lot a work, but it's gonna be freaking awesome and sexy! We can't wait to let you hear!"
The band has also announce that they will be continuing as a four-piece-member band, since rhythm guitarist Aki Reissmann decided to leave the band for personal reasons.
Downspirit will be joining SINNER and VOODOO CIRCLE on their previously announced European Tour this September.
