DOWNSPIRIT Release New Road Movie

DOWNSPIRIT, the German/Swiss blues/metal-oriented band formed by SYMPHORCE/ex-FREEDOM CALL guitarist Cedric "Cede" Dupont, have released a road movie-based video clip that shows the band on their current European tour.

The group's debut album, Point Of Origin, was released in July 2010. The album comes as a limited edition digipack including one bonus track.
A full European Tour for 2011 is in the planning stages and will bring the band's energetic live show to different cities around Europe.
In other news, Downspirit have announced a competition for their German and Swiss fans (or people who have a delivery address available in those two countries). In corporation with Fernandes guitars, the first prize winner will get a signed Fernandes guitar. For other prizes and information visit here (in German).
"Blending old blues roots with a modern, down-tuned guitar-feel, (Downspirit) songs are a mixture of typical bluesy '80s hard rock and a contemporary metal sound, which also includes some electro loops," according to a press release.
