Artisan News Service has uploaded a new interview with Dragonforce bassist Frederic Leclercq. Leclercq, a Frenchman, was recently touring in America with his band when loved ones in his hometown were dealing with the after effects of the Bataclan attack in Paris earlier this month, and he talks about his psyche, friends lost, and how loved ones at home are coping. Watch the interview on YouTube.
Leclercq said: “A friend of mine died…I just found out the day after, I left Paris on the Wednesday or Thursday; then we played Florida; hold on, yeah we played Florida on Friday, my girlfriend told me, I had my girlfriend on the phone, something was happening. Then I started to look on Facebook to see if I knew people because I know people in the rock business over there obviously and it seemed like everybody was ok and then someone; I thought about him because that’s the kind of show he would go to (the Eagles Of Death Metal show) for work and then I saw someone mentioning ‘no news from him, no news from him.’ And yeah turns out he was one of the victims.”
