Back in March, moments before hitting the stage at Montreal's Bell Centre, Mangini sat down with rock journalist Mitch Lafon.
The pair discussed the band's latest album, Dream Theater, and Mike's role in the making of the songs. Mike details the band's latest live show as well as explaining the band's continued success.
The pair also discuss his work as an associate professor at the Berklee College Of Music and his decision to leave the security of that job to join Dream Theater. Mike also talks about working with different artists such as Extreme and Steve Vai. He also offers his insiders view to Gary Cherone joining Van Halen and offers his opinion of Van Halen's III album.
