DREAM THEATER’s Mike Mangini Featured In New Video Interview

Shockwave Hannover recently conducted an interview with DREAM THEATER drummer Mike Mangini at the band’s stop at AWD Hall in Hannover, Germany on February 5th. In the interview Mangini talks about joining Dream Theater, the audition, the demands, the challenges and his musical background. Watch the interview below:
Dream Theater's 'On The Backs Of Angels' (taken from their latest album A Dramatic Turn Of Events) was nominated for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards which took place February 12th, at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. They lost to the FOO FIGHTERS' 'White Limo'.
Keyboardist Jordan Rudess remarked: "We didn't take home the gold, but we still had an amazing time at the Grammys. Most memorable performances: PAUL McCARTNEY, JENNIFER HUDSON's tribute to WHITNEY HOUSTON, BRUNO MARS, ONEREPUBLIC at aftershow. All of our wives and 7 out of 11 DT kids joined us for 48 hours of non-stop parties."
