German metallers EDGUY have announced two UK shows in January:

Frontman Tobias Sammet is suitably excited: “It’s always a great feeling to tour England. England is not known for its appreciation of ridiculous Eunuch fronted European Metal, but if you don’t take yourself too seriously, have a good sense of humor and scarf-skin on your palate, England is the fucking place to be. Seriously, I love that country, I love castles, IRON MAIDEN, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Robin-Hood and British humor. And I am looking forward to set the clubs on fire and finally prove to the Brits - and even if only a few - that we are maybe the best, definitely the most entertaining band in the world! London and Dudley: Beware, the Krauts are coming!!!“
Edguy's new album, Tinnitus Sanctus, recently entered the German Top Twenty at #19 and hit the Austrian charts at #50.
The album will be available via Nuclear Blast Records in North America on January 27th, 2009.
