hot flashes news entombed

Swedish metal legends ENTOMBED were among twelve artists who were selected as the inaugural inductees into the Swedish Music Hall Of Fame tonight at Djurgarden in Stockholm, Sweden.

Guitarist Alex Hellid stated: "So....we're now officially in a museum! Just back from the Swedish Music Hall Of F(L)ame awards!"

The artists were chosen because they all made "lasting contributions to Swedish music," organizers stated.

The Swedish Music Hall of Fame will open to the public tomorrow (March 20) in the same building as the ABBA museum, which has received more than 275,000 visitors since it opened in May 2013.

“Induction is not just recognition for the performers, but is also intended to build bridges between generations,” the Swedish Hall of Fame said in a statement.

For an artist to be elected to the Swedish Music Hall Of Fame, 20 years must have passed since their debut album in order to "guarantee an enduring historical value."
