Ex-ANGRA Vocalist Andre Matos Comments On VAN CANTO's Cover Of 'Carry On'; Audio Clips Available

In a recent conversation with BW&BK; scribe Carl Begai, ex- SHAMAN / ex-ANGRA frontman Andre Matos commented on German a capella band VAN CANTO's cover version of the Angra classic 'Carry On'. The song originally appeared on Angra's 1993 album Angels Cry, and the cover is featured as a bonus track on Van Canto's re-issue of their second album, Hero, now available through Napalm Records. Audio clips of both are available below.
Matos: "Really, I'm flattered, amazed, honored! My big congratulations and a huge thank you for such nice work on my own song! It's probably the most interesting version ever made - and it's not just interesting but it also has some very, very beautiful arrangements and atmospheres. And Charlie's (Bauerfeind) production is genius, as usual!"
