Ex-MEGADETH Guitarist Jeff Young Pays Tribute To Drummer Jerry Gaskill And KING'S X On Music Without Boundaries Radio Show Tonight
February 29, 2012, 12 years ago
KING'S X drummer Jerry Gaskill - who suffered a heart attack on February 26th - has been in intensive care recovery following an emergency operation.
A band update on his progress reads: "Jerry is still on a ventilator while also dealing with pneumonia in both lungs but is recovering. Doctors say it's a slow process but things are headed in the right direction. Good news!"
Ex-MEGADETH guitarist Jeff Young will pay tribute to Gaskill and King's X on tonight's episode (March 1st) of his online radio show, Music Without Boundaries. Young has informed BW&BK; that he will be welcoming a couple special guests into the studio for an on-air jam session in the interest of sending some positive energy and thoughts Gaskill's way.
Jeff Young's Music Without Boundaries airs Thursday nights at 7:11 pm PST/10:11 EST, and worldwide. Tune in live right here on Facebook.
As previously reported, all upcoming North American tour dates for King's X have been cancelled. Jerry will be spending these days recovering back to full health so that he can hopefully join the band behind the drums at some point in the future.
Watch for updates on his condition here.
