EXODUS mainman/guitarist Gary Holt spoke to BW&BK; recently about a number of topics including their new thrashing opus, The Atrocity Exhibition... Exhibit A, out now via Nuclear Blast. He also commented about the hard rock reunion frenzy including LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN and HEAVEN AND HELL.

"I care and would love to be there, but I'm not willing to sell a kidney to get a ticket," Holt says about the much-anticipated Led Zeppelin reunion show at 02 Arena tomorrow (December 10th) in London, England. "I guess on one hand I feel deep-down the same way I feel about the Van Halen reunion - with Van Halen I had seen them repeatedly at their peak with David Lee Roth. Do I want to see David Lee Roth the lounge singer? I don't think so. I saw them with David Lee Roth - the guy that spawned a million impersonations. I never saw Zeppelin, but I know they are using different guitars with baritone tuning to lower the keys so Robert Plant can sing the songs. My big concern if I went - is Plant physically able to do it? I'd rather listen to great albums. I'd rather listen to Van Halen I than see Roth in some sequin outfit with short hair looking like he should be playing at some small casino off the Vegas strip. I haven't been able to see the Heaven And Hell reunion, but I had the utmost pleasure of touring with BLACK SABBATH on the Dehumanizer tour - in it's own way it was even better because they played some of the Ozzy stuff. I would have really love to have seen Heaven And Hell. Ronnie (James Dio) is like the nicest guy I've ever met in heavy metal, rock n' roll, whatever. I would have loved to seen him back up there because he is ageless and timeless. I mean he's a huge inspiration - him and Lemmy (Kilmister - MOTÖRHEAD). Lemmy is still crushing everybody and Ronnie sounds as good as ever. At their age there's no reason why I can't kick the shit out of people! And I'm not quite their age yet!"
