German thrashers EXUMER have issued the following update:

"The Exumer live show on April 22nd, 2009, in Bochum, Germany will generate additional funds towards the Chris Witchhunter benefit concert on April 11th, 2009. It is the first joint venture between Germany's thrash legends Exumer and SODOM's management Death Squad Promotion.

Mem V. Stein comments:” It’s a good feeling for us as a band that the first business transaction we have with our new management includes a non-for-profit component. We were quite disappointed when we had to initially turn down performing at the original Chris Witchhunter tribute show due to our own tour schedule. Now we can help out by donating some of the proceeds from our own show. After all, it does not happen often that everyone can actually come together to "do the right thing".

As previously reported, Exumer have inked a deal with Death Squad Promotion, who also represent fellow German thrashers SODOM. D.S.P. will from now on handle of all of Exumer's management and live bookings worldwide. Exumer's new management will also work closely with the band in marketing and conceptualizing their forthcoming album, expected to be released in late 2009, early 2010.

Singer Mem V. Stein comments: "I just returned from a week-long trip to Germany where we finalized this cooperation with D.S.P. They had initially approached us to be part of the SODOM/Chris Witchhunter tribute show. Regrettably we are not able to attend this important event due to scheduling difficulties. We continued talking and found that we have very similar ideas on how to work together moving Exumer forward. We are confident that this cooperation will be a successful one for all parties involved."
