June 12, 2007, 17 years ago
According to PRWeb, ECOTONIC - featuring former AC/DC/THE FIRM drummer Chris Slade and ex-PETER CRISS guitarist/vocalist Jason Ebs - will perform both an electric set and an acoustic set of both existing and brand new material at their industry showcase party on June 29, at 8.p.m at their Studio in the Los Angeles area.
The party begins at 8.p.m with a live performance around 9 p.m. They are seeking music management, distribution, tour, record deal and publishing deal.
"We're really excited about the way the band is progressing," says Ebs. "I feel so fortunate to have been able to play with such drumming legends as Peter Criss and Chris Slade and to have Slade involved in our original band is simply awesome.""Ecotone" by definition is "a place where two or more biological systems collide." To the band, Ecotonic is a description of the place "where two or more musical styles collide." Having elements of rock, folk, blues, and funk, Ecotonic delivers anything from a wall of sound to the delicate simplicity of a guitar and vocal.
Ecotonic is currently in the studio recording their second full length CD targeting a summer 2007 release. Ebs is recording and producing the acoustic-based CD to be called Out Of The Ashes at their Los Angeles based studio Kinky Organ Music. The CD will be released under their new indie record label World of Wishes Records (WOW) unless they get signed to a Major.
Downoads are available for both 'Electrified' and 'Out Of The Ashes' at iTunes.com, Musicmatch.com, and Cdbaby.com.
