Former DEEP PURPLE keyboardist JON LORD’s new album, the all-instrumental To Notice Such Things, was released on March 29 through Avi Records. The album has entered the UK's official classic charts at #4 - click photo left to view the chart.

Titled after the main work – a six movement suite for solo flute, piano and string orchestra – To Notice Such Things was inspired by, and is dedicated to the memory of Lord's dear friend Sir John Mortimer, the English barrister, dramatist, screenwriter, author and creator of Rumpole of The Bailey, who died in January of 2009.
