Former MELDRUM Singer MOA HOLMSTEN's New EP Now Available, Full Length Album Due In October
September 1, 2009, 15 years ago
Former MELDRUM frontwoman Moa Holmsten has posted the following update:
"Boys and girls!!!It's out now, the brand new EP All Blade No Handle
My first ever release under my own name, my own band, my own creation, my own sweat and blood and tears and hard work and words and notes and ego and late nights of I will probably kill myself before this is over. Order it on MySpace, or download it from iTunes. See my front page.
I have signed with the great indie record label Fill In The Blank Records in the US, a label with two extraordinary people who still believe in real music and an artists creative freedom, something I cherish the most out of people taking care of my business.
Through the spring I have recorded my full length album Do You Want Me Death? that will be released in october. I have opened up and put all those little thoughts and massive ideas into melodies and poetry. I have worked with some amazing people beside my band, beautiful photos taken by Klara Granberg www.klarag.com. Also some amazing guitars on the record done by my guitar hero Conny Nimmersjö, The King of Noice guitar, from Bob Hund and Thåström. The sound artist Mattias Peterson, the King of White Noice have contributed with his talent on the last track, listen to his stuff here, especially my favourite track 'Euforia'.
But more to come about that, until you have the copy of Do You Want Me Death? in your hand later this fall, I want you to get the EP, a first try out if you are ready for the challenge of my music. Kick back and let my sonic bulldozer hit you!"
Much love, yours sincerely,
Moa
