Former SCORPIONS Drummer HERMAN RAREBELL Celebrates His 75th Birthday - "The Past Decades Have Been An Incredible Journey"

Former Scorpions drummer, Herman Rarebell - who was with the Scorpions from 1977 to 1996 - celebrates his 75th birthday today (November 18). He has shared the following mnessage via social media:
"Dear fans, friends and companions,
Time has rocked me like a Hurricane. I am now celebrating my 75th birthday - a milestone I might not have reached without your support, enthusiasm and love for music. Some of you have accompanied me through every phase of my life, from the first drum beats to the biggest international as the drummer of the legendary hard rock band, the Scorpions.
Your energy, your passion and your joy in music have always inspired and motivated me. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart!
The past decades have been an incredible journey and I am deeply grateful to have been able to share it with you. Music is not just my profession, it is my passion - and your enthusiasm has always shown me that it touches you too.
Thank you for all you gave me."
Rarebell recorded eight studio albums with the Scorpions: Taken By Force (1977, Lovedrive (1979), Animal Magnetism (1980), Blackout (1982), Love At First Sting (1984), Savage Amusement (1988), Crazy World (1990) and Face The Heat (1993). He also recorded three live albums with the band: Tokyo Tapes (1978), World Wide Live (1985) and Live Bites (1995).
Rarebell wrote the lyrics for some of the band's most well known songs such as "Rock You Like a Hurricane", "Blackout", "Make It Real", "Bad Boys Running Wild" and "Tease Me Please Me".
