Back in June, FRAMESHIFT mastermind Henning Pauly announced he was seeking a new vocalist for the upcoming third Frameshift album, tentatively titled The God Delusion. He recently confirmed Magali Luyten (VIRUS IV, BEAUTIFUL SIN, AYREON) and Dan Swanö (NIGHTINGALE, ex-EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH) as the singers for the project, but has given one of the finalists- going by the name Aio - permission to stream his audition clip online.
Go to this location and check out the track 'In Gods Hands'.
Pauly recently commented on Aio's performance:
"Not to diminish the achievement of all the other applicants, but Aio was definitely among the finalists. I really like his voice and the power he put into the piece. It's clear that he is a Frameshift fan and that he's heard the other albums which was very flattering. The only thing that made him not get the job in the end was that what he did sounded too close to something I have already done. I was looking for a different kind of vocalist. Dan sounds nothing like the people I've worked with, and although Magali has a metal voice, she's female and can do things with her voice none of the previous vocalists could.I'd love to follow any projects that Aio is doing and would like to hear them. I wouldn't rule out to work with him in the future."
