Gates Of Metal Fest Cancelled

The organizers of The Gates Of Metal Open Air Festival, which was originally scheduled to take place May 21st - 22nd at the Recreation Plantation Camprounds in Dripping Springs, Texas (30 miles outside of Austin), have issued the following update:
"Due to circumstances beyond our control the Gates of Metal Festival is cancelled. We will most likely be doing another in Los Angeles next year."The festival had been slated to feature over 40 metal acts encompassing every metal genre, (classic, true, power, thrash, black, doom, and death metal) on two outdoor stages in a European-style, camping, open-air setting.
