GENE SIMMONS Issues Indy Update

KISS bassist/vocalist GENE SIMMONS has issued the following update;
"Just got back from Vegas, where the IndyCar Series held its year end bash.
Our Simmons Abramson venture markets and brands the IndyCar Series. We are in our 3rd year. We are the ones who created the I Am Indy campaign and co-wrote the song, 'I Am Indy', with BAG.
My partner Rich Abramson and I sat and paid homage to the fastest racers on earth - the IndyCar Racers. Reunification between IndyCar and Champ Car happened last year and the results have been extraordinary. A lot of the credit has to go to the Boss of the whole thing, Tony George. He happens to be a very charming man, who has great people skills and lives, breathes and eats IndyCar. Every day. Without him, there would be NO IndyCar.
Lots of new traction: Versus is now the broadcaster of the IndyCar Series. New cities are being added to the next IndyCar racing season and more and more fans are attending the races and getting the thrill of their lives.
