Germany's Dong Open Air Planning "Something Very Special" For This Year's Event

The Dong Open Air is scheduled for July 23rd and 24th in Neukirchen-Vluyn (near Krefeld), Germany
According to organizers, "On our traditional third weekend of July the autobahn A40 will be closed due to the Ruhr2010 (you know, Essen and the Ruhrgebiet being cultural capital of Europe) making room for celebrations right there. Many of our suppliers and other partners will be working there, which means, we’ll have to postpone our fest a little.
But don’t worry, the soccer world championship finale will take place two weeks before and Wacken will happen two weeks after our date. After 2010 we will of course get back to normal so you have an easy time planning out your summer.
The second exception for 2010 will be that we won’t be accepting any band applications. We have something very special in store for you guys to appropriately celebrate our anniversary. Our application form online will thus be down this fall, but it’ll be back for the following Dong. We will give you all the juicy details about what’s soo special about 2010 once we’re ready."
