GLENN HUGHES To Play Free In Sofia, Bulgaria This Week

According to SofiaEcho.com, GLENN HUGHES (ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) and the Bulgarian bands B.T.R and SIGNAL will stage a mutual concert in Sofia on September 28th. The event is being be held in front of the National Palace of Culture and the entrance will be free.
The concert would commemorate the 15th anniversary of local daily newspaper Standart.
Signal will warm up the audience at 5pm. Hughes and B.T.R. are scheduled to follow and together will perform hits of Deep Purple’s golden era including 'Mistreated', 'Burn', 'Might Just Take Your Life' and 'Keep On Moving'.
Hughes will be special guest at the official celebration of the anniversary, at which he will perform the song 'Ne Ste Sami (You Are Not Alone)', dedicated to the six Bulgarian medics, who were imprisoned in Libya on charges of deliberate HIV infection.
It is Hughes’s third visit to Bulgaria in 2007. He performed two concerts in the coastal town of Kavarna this past year.
