Grammy Nomination "Means A Lot More" Now To BUCKCHERRY

BUCKCHERRY will attend this Sunday's (February 11th) Grammy Awards for the first time since 2000, when the band was nominated in the Best Hard Rock Performance category for the song 'Lit Up'. Now the group, which came back strong in 2006 after a four-year layoff, is up for the same prize with its single 'Crazy Bitch'. Singer Josh Todd told us why the nomination feels different this time: "It's just different because we've had a few hard knocks along the way, you know, and we went from having success to being completely broke to breaking up to getting back together to getting where we're at now, and it's just that, now it means a lot more, you know, because, you know, it's our third record and we've been through so much along the way."
'Crazy Bitch' comes off the band's third album, 15, which has sold 593,000 copies since its release last year.
The latest single from 15 is called 'Everything'.
Buckcherry broke up in 2002 following the disappointing response to its second effort, Time Bomb. Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson are the band's founders and sole original members.
Buckcherry is currently touring with THREE DAYS GRACE and plays tonight (Thursday, February 8th) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The band will be the musical guests on the March 2nd edition of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
