GRAVEYARD Announce US Dates
November 4, 2011, 13 years ago
Swedish classic rockers GRAVEYARD have announced a string of US dates in January.
Drummer Axel Sjöberg checks in about the band’s eminent return to North America: “At last the circumstances of life and the music industry has allowed us to return to the land of infinite highways and corrupt bankers. Of mighty nature and excellent thrift stores. Of micro breweries and good Mexican food (which you can't find in Gothenburg). Yes ladies and gentlemen, the boys in the 'yard are returning to the U S of A in January, 2012. A good way to start the new year and an excuse to get fucked up and enjoy some good rocking music.
“With us on our travels across the nation are the very skillful musicians of RADIO MOSCOW. With natural talent and relentless touring they are bound to leave jaws hanging and people wondering what just happened. Blues rock the way it's meant to be played.”The first 13 shows are:

Graveyard recently confirmed their participation on the German leg of MOTÖRHEADs European tour 2011, this month.
Commented the band: "This year is getting more and more unbelievable for us. As it if it wasn't enough that we got the chance to open for Maiden in our hometown, now we're gonna go on tour with the essence of rock'n'roll - Motörhead!! Once again we feel deeply honoured to get a sort of approval to step into rock history by opening for Motörhead. And when you're talking about Motörhead, there's no way of getting around talking about Lemmy. That cat has always been an inspiration to us, all the way from Sam Gopal to Motörhead. Not only musically through his combination of psychedelia, rock and punk. But also through his relentlessness, something we hold very high in the Graveyard camp. But let's not forget that we also get to go on tour with a fellow Gothenburger - Mikkey Dee - the magic stikks wizard!“
