BW&BK; has received the following press release:

Gary Schutt (JEFF SCOTT SOLO) announces the new addition to his solo band. New bass player, Kevin Rothney (JON OLIVA'S PAIN) is welcomed on board into the GARY SCHUTT BAND and Gary's respective cover band CATEGORY THREE.

“Kevin has a great sound and is a solid, in the pocket player and is a great singer and super nice guy. We're proud to have him in the band”. Kevin's duties with Schutt will not hinder Kevin's tour schedule with Oliva, coming up around May. Gary's drummer Mike Catone has been with him for over a year and is “one of the best drummers I've ever played with.”

On another Schutt note, a music video for the song 'Intentions' from the Loss 4 Words CD/DVD has been created and is exclusively on YouTube for now. The video will be one of about four that will appear on an upcoming DVD that is the sequel to the DVD included with Loss 4 Words. This DVD will have music videos, behind the scenes, and tons of guitar and bass lesson videos discussing Gary's playing style, his own riffs and tricks and solos from the CD.

About the 'Intentions' video shoot: “We got very lucky on the video shoot. I've been wanting to do another video for a L4W track ever since the Baby Dinosaur video. So I locked in my trusted camera guy friend to Thursday February 12th at a location that I've done photo shoots at before which is an old abandoned warehouse on the bike trail in Dunedin FL. One of the walls is beautifully graffiti-ed. But when we got there the wall was gone and there was a sign saying 'Warning, this site is a condemned deconstruction zone. Anyone found trespassing will be drawn and quartered and possibly beat with tiny bricks, or something like that. [laughs] I was bummed and almost scrapped the whole thing. But Greg Baldi (my camera guy) quickly dialed the number at the front gate and contacted the owner of the lot and he granted us permission to film there, at our own risk of course. He also informed us that the building was to be torn down that Saturday. So I quickly said to Greg that we're coming back on Saturday to shoot the demolition! I ended up coming back to site alone to shoot the tearing down of the decrepit building Saturday, Monday and Tuesday until it was all gone. What started out as a quick throw together idea ended up being a product that looks like I spent a fortune of it! What a great turn of luck and the video looks amazing!”
