hot flashes news hacride

French death metallers HACRIDE have been back in Loko Studio (Normandie, France) with Franck Hueso and Marc Casanova, working on a new album, Lazarus, to be released this spring on Listenable Records.

Bassist Benoist Danneville checks in with the following update:

"To record at such a well equipped studio as the Loko studio allowed us to go really far in all our production desires for Lazarus. Frank Hueso, who has been producing the band since our inception be it at recordings or in a live situation, really knew how to fill in all our expectations and surpassed by far even all our hopes with this new recording.

We are more than thrilled about this new album which represents a huge leap forward for the band. Every bit of passion we have for Hacride is poured into this record and we hope the fans will enjoy it.

The new album will contain 7 tracks for a total play length of one hour, one track going over 15 minutes which really demonstrates all the hard work that went into the writing of Lazarus.

Amoeba fans will not be disappointed because this is a logical step in the evolution of Hacride. This being said, we cannot wait to unleash the storm upon the masses and start destroying stages all over Europe!!!"

Expect Lazarus to be the most solid and mature album from the progressive metal machine Hacride, which already made many heads turn with their previous record Amoeba, while this is just the beginning, Lazarus will once and for all show the enormous potential the band has.

The band recently posted a short video teaser for the album, which can be seen below...
