HAUNT OF JACKALS Featuring Former LEATHERWOLF Members Prepping Debut; Demo Video Streaming

Huntington Beach, California-based metallers, Haunt Of Jackals, features Wreck (vocals), Dan Bruette (drums), Pat Guyton (bass), Carey Howe (guitar, ex-Leatherwolf) and Geoff Gayer (guitar, ex-Leatherwolf), who put together a fantastic display of new metal sound with screaming guitar riffs and dual harmony lead sections.
The band was formed in 2015 after longtime Enigma and Island Records recording artist/songwriters Carey Howe and Geoff Gayer teamed up to form a more up-to-date metal band which clearly showcased some of their newer hardcore metal influences.
The classic power metal songwriting team of all the classic Leatherwolf material have created yet another gem to add to a catalogue of past and present metal tunes. Haunt Of Jackals began the songwriting process in July of 2015 when Geoff and Carey teamed up with long time vocal recording artist Wreck to deliver the vocal melodies and grinding verses, in addition add to the team 26 year old power drummer Dan Bruette and longtime colleague Pat Guyton (Leatherwolf) to pound on bass. Haunt Of Jackals combines a unique blend of new hard and heavy power riffs on guitar with great vocal melodies and chanting big chorus sections. raw, powerful, new and fresh.
Haunt of Jackals are wrapping up the demo process and pre-production for a new 11-song CD, due out in early 2016 and to be produced by Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Megadeth) in Orange County, California.
