HEAVEN SHALL BURN Confirmed For Rock am Ring/Rock im Park; First New Album Details Available

After just completing the recording of their follow-up to Iconoclast (Part One: The Final Resistance), HEAVEN SHALL BURN were just confirmed for the renowned German festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park (June 4th - 6th, 2010).
Guitarist Maik Weichert comments: ”It will be an honour as well as a challenge to play Rock am Ring’s and Rock im Park’s anniversaries. We are aware that not everybody will be into our heavy tunes, but we are pretty positive about enough people showing up for a huge and insane party!”
Everybody eager to hear new material from Thüringen’s finest should make their way to Vienna on February 20th for a special pre-release show in the small and intimate club Szene. The show on the 21st was already sold-out a while ago, so better make up your minds quickly.
“We have just returned from the studio with our pockets full of new songs. Whoever would like to check out a melody or two should come to Szene Vienna. We will play a small club-show and already test a few new songs live! The show will be filmed as bonus-material for the upcoming CD which will be the perfect chance to become a part of the new release later this year. We have mapped out several cool ideas for this night, so let’s take it to the stars! Two people coming to the show will be handpicked and get the chance to join our listening-session on Sunday where we will play the whole new album to a very small number of selected journalists.
