Germany modern metallers HEAVEN SHALL BURN are the latest act confirmed for the 2009 Wacken Open Air festival, scheduled for July 30th - August 1st in Wacken, Germany.

As previously reported, Heaven Shall Burn will release it's upcoming, first ever DVD, Bildersturm - Iconoclast II (The Visual Resistance), on May 25th in Europe. Besides two live shows, the double DVD also includes a comprehensive documentary about Heaven Shall Burn, all video clips and loads of additional content. More details can be found here.

Rockalarm will be presenting the W:O:A 2009 exclusively on the internet. Thanks to the co-operation between the music-portal and Tempodome, the fans who have to stay at home will have the chance to watch the sold-out 20th Wacken Open Air live stream at rockalarm.com.

The transmission will start in the morning and will continue until the early next morning. Simultaneous concerts at two stages will be recorded and delivered in addition. So fans won’t miss anything.

Check out the ticket-portal eventim.de/wacken for prices. The three-Day Pass will guarantee you at least 40 hours of the live-programm and will cost 6.90 € until May 15th (Early Metalheadz Ticket). From May 15th until July 15th it will cost 10,90 € (Wacken Rulez Ticket) and from there on it will cost 15,90 € (Headbangers Heaven Ticket).
