"From humble beginnings in a dusty Southeast LA garage in 2002, EXMORTUS have risen to become one of Southern California’s top metal headliners.From clubs to backyards to basements, Exmortus carved their niche’ with their live campaign against false metal, sometimes as often as two shows a night back to back, twice a weekend.
Dominating all in their path, Exmortus quickly made a name for themselves in the LA Metal underground playing direct support to headliners such as NECROPHAGIST, AGENT STEELE, NEVERMORE, HIRAX, HALLOWS EVE, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM, SADUS, TESTAMENT and others.
Exmortus are an entity amongst themselves and their music, both complex and thoroughly hook-laden, refuses to lend itself to easy categorization. From the technical death-thrash riffage and surgically precise drumming to their neo-classical, twin virtuoso lead guitar attack, fans of death metal, thrash, prog metal, traditional heavy metal and all true metal sub-genres alike enjoy having their craniums crushed by Exmortus.
