HELIX Confirmed For London Music Awards

HELIX mainman Brian Vollmer has issued the following update:
"Helix will be closing this year’s London Music Awards on Wednesday, June 10th, 7P.M. at the London Music Hall. Tickets are available at the Grand Theatre Box Office, by phone at 1-800-265-1593 and online at Grandtheatre.comOn Friday, September 11th Helix will be playing a benefit concert for the S.P.C.A. in Strathroy, Ontario. MOONDOG UPROAR, a great up and coming London band, will open the show. Previous to that we will be having an auction of various items that are being donated. Some items include a drum skin signed by RUSH, two t-shirts signed by the Trailer Park Boys, memorabilia from the London Knights, and several Helix scrapbooks containing everything from write-ups to proofs from early photo sessions going back to the late 70’s."
On March 7th Helix had their first photo session/practise with the new 2009 Helix line-up which features Vollmer, returned guitarist Brent Doerner, Sean Kelly (CRASH KELLY) on bass guitar, Rob MacEachern on drums and Jim Lawson is still on rhythm guitar.
