Italian symphonic power prog metallers INFINITA SYMPHONIA will release their sophomore album, self-titled, on June 18th via Scarlet Records.

Infinita Symphonia was recorded and mixed at Outer Sound Studio by Giuseppe Orlando (NOVEMBRE) and mastered by Henkka Niemistö and Svante Forsbäck at Chartmakers Studio (SONATA ARCTICA, APOCALYPTICA) and the album features a very special guest appearance by legendary singer Michael Kiske (UNISONIC, AVANTASIA, ex-HELLOWEEN) on the song ‘Fly’, where Michael does a duet with Luca Micioni.

Michael Kiske commented about the song ‘Fly’: “The song is pretty cool and in progressive rock style.”

And the band commented about Michael’s collaboration: “We have had the pleasure to meet him and he showed himself to be very kind... a special person. He promised to listen to the song and he kept his word! Then, to our great pleasure, he even said he appreciates the message of the song!”

The Michael Kiske official fanclub did an interview with Luca Micioni (vocalist) and Gianmarco Ricasoli (guitarist) from Infinita Symphonia, who explain some details about the new album. An excerpt follows:

Q: Please tell us about the song 'Fly' and the Kiske performance?

Luca: "I wrote the lyrics concerning the strength we need to realize our own desires, the message that come out is that we all need to keep on trying, even when everything seem to be lost... And Kiske, in this song, represents my inner voice... and tells me to go on. What can I say about the way he did it? Perfect!"

Gianmarco: "'Fly' is a deeply felt song... I wrote the music and Luca created the lyrics and the vocal line... but what is incredible is that during the composition I had a clear idea of the message emerging from that music... when Luca sent me back the song with the voice... I found he had expressed the same concept! It often happen something similar between Luca and me... sometimes I think we read each others minds! Michael Kiske was flawless! It took me some time to get used to listening to his voice on a song of mine... it's not a usual thing! But then I realized how he is a complete artist more than being "simply" a singer. He interpreted the song as it was HIS song... the bridge surely represents the deep meaning of the song..."If you don't dream you don't fly"."
