IRON MAIDEN’s frontman Bruce Dickinson has commented on the band’s recently announced Greek show that is set to take place in Athens on March 11th.

Says Bruce Dickinson: "Greece has always given us such great support and we understand that ’A Matter Of Life And Death’ was the number one album for 4 weeks and we will of course be playing some songs from that album. We were sadly unable to arrange a date in the first part of the tour so we are all very pleased to be now able to play in Athens and we expect to bring with us the full staging we have been using so far on this tour . The Greek audiences are amongst the craziest anywhere and we look forward very much to playing the show. And so of course does Eddie!"

The show will take place at the Pavilion Stadium of Tae Kwon Do in Faliro, the ticket price is 55 Euros (before the show) and 60 Euros (day of the show) and the venue’s doors will open at 6:30 pm.

Iron Maiden’s latest studio release, A Matter Of Life And Death, came out in late August 2006 through EMI Records and was voted as "Album Of The Year" by Metal Temple’s readers (click here to view detailed results).
