IRON MAIDEN Named Golden Gods At Metal Hammer Awards

IRON MAIDEN have issued the following update:
"Last night at a typically alcohol-soaked Metal Hammer Awards at the IndigO2 in East London, Maiden were presented with awards for Best British Band and Golden Gods, the latter partly in honour of having a liver that can withstand the continual onslaught of alcoholic beverages fired from every direction! TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy and Scott Ian of ANTHRAX presented the award. With three of Maiden out of the country, the awards were collected by Bruce, Janick and Nicko. The party continued on until the very early hours at the Embassy Club in the West End where the guys were able to catch up with the likes of Anthrax, Trivium, ANVIL, BRING ME THE HORIZON, SAXON and other stalwarts of the metal world."
