IRON MAIDEN producer Kevin Shirley issued the following update on June 11th:
"Feel shattered today. Spent the day at Donington Park yesterday, and recorded Iron Maiden's enormo-set at the Download Festival. It was immense. In the studio today doing some quick mixes of the set for a Channel 4 or BBC or whatever it is, broadcast of the show sometime. If I'm feeling shattered, I can't even imagine how those blokes who were bladdered for three days in the sun and dirt must be feeling....... they must be forgiven if they've taken a sick day off work today - I would be in a coma!!!"As previously reported, footage of Maiden performing 'Different World' at the Download Festival 2007 this past weekend is available at this location. The show was reportedly filmed for a future DVD release. Details are expected to be revealed soon.
