Italy's ECNEPHIAS have issued the following update:
"Ecnephias has signed an important deal for the release of their next album with Code666 (ABORYM, NEGURA BUNGET, HANDFUL OF HATE, AGHORA, KONKHRA, DIBOLICUM) the prestigious Italian label, world landmark for a certain type of extreme avant-gardists sound, who was found to be on the same wavelength with the artistic ideas of the band.The new album, third release for Ecnephias, aspires to set itself as the true masterpiece of the band, as it stands out as a more mature and complete work.
In (vocalist, guitarist) Mancan’s words, the upcoming work, with the symbolic title Ways of Descention, "will bring Ecnephias to the definitive construction of their own sound, in which every single and peculiar element will be brought to its extreme; the tracks emanate great ferocity, tempos are perfectly balanced between blast-beats and mid-tempos and the arrangements confer to every track a sinister and mysterious halo on which the vocals, more wicked and various than ever, will narrate the secret history of an occultist priest of the Italian '700 , a dark figure all of the lyrics of the work are based on."
