May 21, 2010, 14 years ago
KATAKLYSM have been forced to cancel their appearance at this year's edition of the Wacken Open Air festival which is scheduled for August 5th - 7th in Wacken, Germany.
A band statement reads: "Unfortunately because of our extremely tight schedule between the new album, EX DEO's Euro tour, Heavy MTL open air and Ozzfest all jammed together this summer, we just can't make the trip to Wacken this year. The organizers have been kind enough to rebook us for next Wacken 2011..of course if the world still exists. So we apologize to all you maniacs that wanted to see us destroy Wacken this year. You'll have to wait next year!"
In other news, Berlin's country & western cover band THE BOSSHOSS are confirmed for the festival.
