KISS Guitarist Tommy Thayer - More From Memphis
June 11, 2007, 17 years ago
KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer recently visited the Memphis Gibson Guitar factory for a personal tour by David Winters, the Gibson Memphis Operations Manager.
Tommy has offered the following update regarding his visit:
"It was quite a week in Memphis. I played in the Stanford St. Jude Classic pro-am golf tournament with my buddy Shaun Micheel. It's a thrill to play in an official PGA tour event like that. After the golf, we got up onstage at the "Eagles Nest" and jammed with a great local band, DR. ZARR. We rocked it out with FREE's 'All Right Now', 'Feel Like Makin Love' by BAD COMPANY, AC/DC's 'You Shook Me All Night Long', some BOB SEGAR and of course a couple KISS classics to close out the show, the crowd loved it."
