March 20, 2007, 17 years ago
As previously reported, Canadian bashers KITTIE, who are currently on the road in the U.S. with support acts WALLS OF JERICHO, DEAD TO FALL and 36 CRAZYFISTS, were forced to cancel their March 20th show in Wapakoneta, OH due to a fire at the venue, Cityside. They have issued the following statement:
"The show on March 20th at Cityside in Wapakoneta, Ohio was cancelled as a result of a fire in the adjacent building that compromised the structural integrity of one of the main supporting walls. We are all disappointed that this show did not be happening and we hope that the venue will be up and running soon. The show will be rescheduled on the next leg of the Funeral For Yesterday Tour."According to Cityside, anyone with tickets purchased from the venue can pick up their refund within the next 10 - 14 days.
